DJ EDI is from Guangzhou and ever since childhood, EDI had a passion for music. He began to learn piano and music theory at the age of 5, then from the age of 17, he was influenced by the hip-hop culture and started his career as a DJ. Later, he established Dum Due with his friends and a well-known hip-hop label in China called "CHEE Production". Thus, creating local hip-hop music genre from Guangzhou.

DJ EDI凭着他天生的节奏感和精湛的Scratch技术，很快就成为全国地区最具代表性的DJ。近年来通过在中国各大音乐节和大型派对的演出。DJ EDI的技术已经炉火纯青，他的舞台经验也在不断的提升中他的风格也日趋多元化，从原来早期收到启蒙的 Hip-Hop，Funk和Turntablism到现在占据主流DJ播放模式 Open   Format,MainStream,Bass,Electro,Trap,Bailefunk,Dancehall,Afrobeats等等。

With his natural sense of rhythm and superb scratch skills, DJ EDI quickly became the most iconic DJ in the country. In recent years, through performances in major music festivals and notable parties in China. DJ EDI's techniques has become flawless, and his stage experience is constantly improving. His music styles became also more diversified, from the original Hip-Hop, Funk and Turntablism in the early days, now he’s adding the mainstream DJ playback style such as : Open Format, MainStream , Bass, Electro, Trap, Bailefunk, Dancehall, Afrobeats and more.

个人与团体参加过香港Clockenflap，台湾StreetVoiceParkCarival，内地的MIDI迷笛，草莓，爵士上海，Echo Park, YOLO,满堂等音乐节。在他职业生涯中取得了许多成就，2008年WorldDJChampionshipChina大赛的Finalist，2010上海世博德国馆演出嘉宾2011年获得NIKE ALL-STARS BattleNight比赛的DJ冠军，2014年更是上海潮流展览YOHO的AfterParty表演嘉宾，在2019年获得嘻哈融合体颁发的最佳DJ推广者奖项。

As individual guest and with his crew, DJ EDI have participated in Hong Kong Clockenflap, Taiwan StreetVoiceParkCarival, Midi Festival China, Strawberry Festival, Jazz Shanghai, Echo Park, YOLO, Mantang and other music festivals. He has great accomplishments in his career, such as being the Finalist in World DJ Championship China contest in 2008, guest performer in German Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo in 2010, DJ champion in NIKE ALL-STARS Battle Night contest in 2011, AfterParty guest performer in Shanghai exhibition YOHO! in 2014, and received the Best DJ Promoter award from Hip Hop Fusion in 2019.

2022年EDI以嘉宾DJ的身份开始加入国际顶级嘻哈俱乐部1 OAK, 为1 OAK注入更多活力与兴奋。

In 2022, EDI is joining the renowned international club 1 OAK as a guest DJ, bringing passion and excitement to the dancefloor.
