 深度了解 LTJ Bukem 

作为 Drum & Bass 运动的先驱，LTJ Bukem更多的是以mix DJ的身份出现的．1990年代陆续发表的"Logical Progression "Progression Sessions"、"Earth"系列专辑，成立了自家厂牌"Good Looking"，开启 drum & bass 結合jazz、ambient的全新视野！

1990年，LTJ Bukem第一次受邀在Raindance演出。当天LTJ Bukem演出时间是1am - 2am，面对10000名跳舞的群众，他没让大家失望，在这场令人难忘的派对过后，一位世界级的DJ - LTJ Bukem俨然诞生！

Raindance是一个大型派对的名字,位于伦敦东边的艾色克斯郡，这个派对在一个美式足球场内举行，时间从1989年到2001年，这个足球场爆满时可塞下1万人，而且Raindance的派对每场都爆满,曾经受邀过的DJs有Carl Cox, Dave Angel, LTJ Bukem, Mr.C, Dj Rap, John Digweed, Kevin Saunderson, Slipmatt, Fabio与Grooverider。

1991年，LTJ Bukem进录音室灌录了一张名垂青史的drum & bass巨作,叫Logical Progression(这首歌后来于1996年发行并大受欢迎)，这张专辑里舒缓写意的旋律，也奠定了LTJ Bukem日后音乐发展的蓝图。

接着LTJ Bukem亦同时着手属于自己的音乐厂牌Good Looking，1991年7月发行的第一张EP是Demon’s Theme。Demon’s Theme很快地就引起人们的注意，其跳跃的碎拍，活泼的旋律，优雅的节奏，结合了灵魂音乐的遐想空间，为当时drum & bass的音乐风格开创了一条全新的未来之路。

90年中期Good Looking的创作越来越丰富，其名声也越来越响亮，随后Good Looking也发行了一些著名的混音系列专辑，例如: Progression Sessions系列，Earth系列，后来的Logical Progression系列与Points In Time系列。

1995年LTJ Bukem创立了副厂牌Looking Good。1997 - 1998年，他又创立第二个副厂牌Diverse，Diverse目前只发行了1张作品，是更为深沉与实验性的drum & bass厂牌。

 Daniel Power 

在很短的时间内来自英国伦敦的 Daniel Power 在南中国的低音跳舞音乐圈取得了不凡的成绩。受到形形色色的高质量地下音乐影响，他对跳舞音乐有着独特的理解，对电子音乐的热情促使他开始研究不同的音乐风格。身为两个以“推广纯粹的电子乐跳舞现场”为目的而存在的派对组织(Unchained/DnB; Detached/Techno)主理人，曾在中国各大城市的一线跳舞俱乐部演出，如香港的 XXX、Basement;上海的Shelter、ALL、Dada等。曾与众多国际音乐人同台，如: Dom & Roland (Metalheadz), dBridge (EXIT Records),Fabio (Radio 1), Makoto (Hospital Records), Arkaik (Dispatch Recordings), Goth-Trad (Deep Medi), JoeNice (Gourmet Beats), Stray (Ivy Lab), Flava D. (Butterz), DJ Zinc (Rinse)等。

 DJ Viceroy 

DJ Viceroy来自新加坡的一个小岛。 他第一次接触Drum & Bass是在听完了DJ Marky的'Brazilian Job'之后，很久以后，DJ Marky继续给他上了一堂大师课，教授他至今仍觉得不可能的技能。

由于做决定不是他的强项，几乎可以肯定的是，他永远不会选定一个名号，直到一个愤怒的Goldie解除了这个魔咒，给他起了个名字。因此在2007年，Viceroy诞生了。

他独特的深沉，旋律的声音和滚动的低音线吸引了诸如已故的Marcus Intalex，伦敦Elektricity，Klute，Logistics，Nu：Tone，High Contrast，Commix，Matrix＆Futurebound，Andy C和Goldie等名人的深刻影响, 这其中有很多人他都同台演出过。

因为他只放黑胶，这让他在没有唱机的俱乐部中相对不为人知，但却让他在黑胶唱机界成为绝对的传奇。

L.T.J Bukem

Arguably the prime innovator in the development of jungle from its early status as an offshoot of hardcore techno into the respected, stylistic genre it became by the end of the 1990s, L.T.J Bukem gained fame as an auteur in all fields of the drum & bass movement: as a top-flight breakbeat DJ, owner and label-head of the Good Looking/Looking Good stable of labels and, of course, for his recordings — inspired by the lush strings and natural ambience of 70s jazz-fusion masters like Lonnie Liston Smith and Chick Corea as well as elegiac Chicago house and moody Detroit techno.

Allied with the early-90s rave and hardcore scene, Bukem began working on production near the end of the 1980s; though his light, airy sound made little sense to his contemporaries, Bukems style was emulated much more as the jungle scene gained momentum during the mid-90s. While such producers as Roni Size and Goldie gained the limelight for their solo work, Bukem purposely downplayed his own artistic career in favor of mix albums and label-spanning retrospectives which highlighted dozens of artists from his labels.

When the acid-house explosion hit Britain near the turn of the decade, Bukem gradually stopped going to sound-system battles and began attending the ever-growing raves dotting Englands countryside. He began mixing at them as well, and produced his first track Logical Progression in 1990. Bukem soon grew frustrated with a lack of control for his own recordings, however, and in 1991 decided to form his own label, Good Looking Records. Bukems production style was a continuing anachronism on the rave/breakbeat scene; early Good Looking tracks like Demons Theme, Atlantis and Music provided a soulful, melodic alternative to the prevailing hardcore tracks then in vogue.

By 1994, L.T.J Bukem had formed his second label (Looking Good Records) and begun the formation of an artist collective — Peshay, Aquarius (aka Photek), PFM, ILS & Solo, Blame, Nookie, Seba & Lo-Tec, Tayla, Funky Technicians — similarly inclined towards melodicism and epic expanses of sound. In October of that same year, he began the club-night Speed at the Mars Bar in order to spread the Good Looking/Looking Good approach to sound. With Bukem and jungle pioneer Fabio spinning breakbeat records while MC Conrad added verbal gymnastics over the top, it soon became one of the most popular clubs in London. Appropriately, Bukem's first full-length was a mix album, Mixmag Live!, Vol. 3, which confirmed his status as one of the top breakbeat DJs in the drumnbass scene.

After a subsequent DJ tour of America (his first), Bukem showcased a new direction in late 1996 with Earth, Vol. 1. Another compilation (this time spanning his catch-all subsidiary Earth Records), it concentrated on midtempo tracks inspired by hip-hop, soul jazz and funk — again featuring very few tracks actually by Bukem. The sequel to Logical Progression continued the same share-the-wealth strategy — it was helmed and mixed by Good Looking right-hand man Blame.

Besides inaugurating yet another mix-album series (Progression Sessions) in 1998, Bukem released several additional volumes in both the Logical Progression and Earth series. Journey Inwards, his first full-fledged solo album, followed in the spring of 2000. Producer 01 was issued a year later. Good Lookings release schedule didnt wane through 2005; Bukem remained as active as ever.

Daniel Power

In just a short space of time Daniel Power (London, UK) has become one of the most well known and respected DJs/promoters in southern China. He is the founder of two events brands focused on pushing the underground music scene in China. Unchained for DnB and Detached for Techno. He was the Music Director and main resident DJ at Club Sector (SZ); resident DJ at Bang Club (SZ) for the last 2 years and regular DJ and promoter at Hangover (GZ). He has played in some of the best clubs around China including XXX, and Basement in Hong Kong, and The Shelter, The Mansion, Dada in Shanghai. He has also supported/shared the decks with some big international artists including: Dom & Roland (Metalheadz), dBridge (EXIT Records), Fabio (Radio 1), Makoto (Hospital Records), Arkaik (Dispatch Recordings), Goth-Trad (Deep Medi), Joe Nice (Gourmet Beats), Flava D, (Butterz) DJ Zinc (Rinse)...

DJ Viceroy

DJ Viceroy comes from the little island of Singapore. He was first introduced to drum and bass after listening to ‘Brazilian Job’ by DJ Marky, who much later, went on to give him a masterclass in skills he still finds impossible to this day. With decision-making not being his strong suit, it seemed almost certain that he would never settle on a moniker, until an exasperated Goldie interceded and named him. And so in 2007, Viceroy was born. His distinctive deep, melodic sounds and rolling basslines draw deep influences from luminaries like the late Marcus Intalex, London Elektricity, Klute, Logistics, Nu:Tone, High Contrast, Commix, Matrix & Futurebound, Andy C, and Goldie, many with whom he has played alongside. His vinyl-only sets have kept him relatively unknown in clubs without turntables in their inventory, but made him an absolute legend with his cat and neighbors.
