After four years of amazing events, blessed guests and DJ's alike, we at Le Baron Shanghai are proud to celebrate our Four Year Anniversary with you!

It hasn’t felt like that long at all but it’s true and there was no way we would let it pass without getting everyone together in style.

什么是“MASQUERADE”?

What is "MASQUERADE"? 

其实就是我们一直所说的“化装舞会”了！

找到自己喜爱的面具，脱离那些世俗的身份，还有什么比这个更神秘的呢？

What could be more mysterious than finding your favorite mask and transforming into someone completely different, even if only for one night.

剧院魅影

Phantom Of The Opera (1943)

作为歌剧经典，“Phantom Of The Opera”一直是被大家所津津乐道的存在！

剧中的“幽灵”一直是以单边面具示人，剧情是为了遮挡毁容的半边。

但是作为男士面具，半边的设计不乏充满神秘感以及男性特色。

Phantom of the Opera has always been a classic, and is firmly imprinted into our history.

The "ghost" has always been represented as a one-sided mask, intended to hide one side of the his disfigured face. The design is full of mystery and male characteristics.

卡萨诺瓦

Casanova (2005)

以威尼斯作为电影背景，面具当然是不可或缺的存在！

片中的面具一反威尼斯例来的华丽的特点，黑白纯色的面具更显干练，可以将个人特点直率的表现出来。

Set in Venice, these masks are nothing out of the ordinary.

The masks in the film are in contrast with the gorgeous characteristics of Venice, the mask in black and white can express emotions easily.

罗密欧和朱丽叶

Romeo & Juliet (1968)

罗密欧与朱丽叶这部经典老片里，经常出现的金属动物面具、丝绒服饰，年代感十足，将思绪拉回到中世纪的欧洲。

In this classic film, Romeo and Juliet, metal animal masks and velvet costumes often appear. They were common during the time period in which the story is set, these bring the audience back to medieval Europe.

五十度灰

50 Shades Of Grey（2015）

面具一直是五十度系列电影的另一看点，男女主参加舞会的桥段里，男的黑色佐罗眼罩和女主的白色蕾丝面罩相得益彰，象征了他们这段危险又浪漫的爱情。 

Masquerade scenes are also featured in the “50 Shades of Grey” film series. The black zorro eye mask and the white lace mask of the female protagonist complement each other during the dance, symbolizing their dangerous and romantic love.
