Luca Venezia，你们可能更熟悉他的艺名Curses，这家伙不仅是个超赞的音乐制作人、厂牌老板，还是个DJ大神！他总能把那种浪漫得让人坐不住的气氛带到舞池里。这首歌是他最新专辑的主打歌，歌词里还提到了1983年的吸血鬼电影《The Hunger》，也是这部电影让我爱上了Bauhaus和David Bowie。

Luca Venezia aka Curses is an incredible producer, label boss, and DJ that brings this restless romantic energy to the dance floor. 

This is the title track of his last full length and the lyrics reference the 1983 vampire film The Hunger which got me into both Bauhaus and David Bowie.

我之前从没听说过这个乐队，但有一天在鼓楼老Dada ，一个朋友告诉我：“去Temple Bar楼上看看，今晚的乐队很酷。” 结果就这样发现了Cold Cave，真的超赞！

I had never heard of this band, but one night at the old Dada Gulou, a friend said, go upstairs to Temple Bar, the band is pretty cool tonight. It was Cold Cave, and they're awesome.

我最近听到一个购物中心的house音乐歌曲，竟然采样了这首歌的铃声部分，听后我简直忍不住要赶紧回家放原曲。我特别喜欢这首歌深沉的基调与铃声带来的明亮反差之间的那种张力。歌曲开头的那种金属回响贝斯声也被很多techno和bass音乐借鉴过。

I recently heard some stupid shopping mall house music song that sampled the bells sound from this song, and I had to run home and play the original.  Love the tension created by the dark undertones and the vibrant levity of the bells. That metallic echo bass at the beginning has been sampled many times too, in techno and bass music.

几个月前我在Dada Shanghai放了这首歌，巧合的是那天俱乐部里竟然有三个人都穿着The Sisters Of Mercy的T恤。也真是太巧了！

Kyle Page got his start DJng in the back-street dive bars of pre-Olympic Beijing. He has spent over a decade exploring his obsession with saw-tooth synthpunk, dark 80s wave, and retro-future sounds alongside Beijing party crews such as Tag Team Record's INDIE NIGHT and Black Eyeliner, as well as through broadcast radio, production and programming. He co-founded PRETTY COLD in 2016 with Edna Abigail.

DJ Ozone (San Francisco) plays all original, vinyl records, from the 1980s. It's fun, silly, carefree party music -- 80s synth-pop, Italo disco, boogie funk, post-punk, old school hip-hop and electro, funk and soul, and lots of cheese cheese cheese. 

Ozone’s approach is to let the songs play -- not making elaborate mixes or using too many effects. In a time of trendy computer DJs with automatic edits and beat-matching software, it's refreshing to hear a human touch -- just great songs, nothing serious, played raw and fresh as ever.
