Shanghai’s monthly party for Italo Disco, Electro, Synth, City-Pop, Post-Punk, Club Trax, and anything cybernetic FINALLY returns to Dada Beijing after almost a year. Finally! Lights. Fog. Raw anime visuals dripping from the walls. Extreme pleasures and euphoria. Come release all that energy that’s been building up for months. Party starts at 10pm with DJ sets by Heatwolves and Meng Meng. Release!

Heatwolves

DJ Heatwolves 是一位平面插画师，他同时也是艺术与音乐平台 Love Bang、全息梦境和 Barbarism 的创始人。他擅长用三台 CDJ，不受风格流派约束地将不同节奏和时间场景中的具有灵魂和朋克能量的音乐联系在一起。最近，在隔离期间，他猛攻音乐制作，并准备为 Dada Beijing 带来几首从未全新的曲目和剪辑。还有，Heatwolves 最近每天还在跳绳和玩健身环大冒险，他说这都是为了3-4个小时的演出做准备，不过演出后肯定需要至少一个 DADA 门口的墨西哥卷以及多加两个煎蛋作为能量补给。

Heatwolves is a writer, 2D illustrator, and co-founder of the art and music platform Love Bang, as well as the club nights Hologram Dreams | 全息梦境 and Barbarism. His unrestrained sets on three CDJs connect multiple genres, tempos, and decades with music that has soul and a certain kind of punk energy. During the quarantine days, he stepped up his music production game and is about to drop several new tracks and edits he’s never played in Beijing. Heatwolves has been jumping rope and playing Ringfit daily to prepare for this 3-4 hour set, but will still require at least one post-show burrito and jianbing from the shop next to Dada to recover his energy.

With a profound understanding of the underground electronic music scene, Meng Meng has been planning impressive and unique electronic music activities of ShadowPlay for many years. As a DJ from behind the scenes to the stage, she plays a selection of styles. From Ambient to balanced minimal music with a futuristic Electro twist that's locked with the enduring sense of Techno.
